Over the last couple of days, I’ve tried out a few recipes that I’ve had in my head. I’m going to test at least one of them again, and if successful a second time around, I’ll post the recipe on here. I am pleased with how it turned out the first time, so fingers crossed.
Today, I did a little bit of minimizing with our DVDs and vinyls. The kids are done with school, except for a one of them with their math. So, I’m going to work on a scarf for Aggie. I’ve been knitting scarves for the kids since 2013. I’ve gotten four of them done, but the boys lost theirs since then. So, basically two of the girls have scarves that I made them. I was initially doing Aggie’s in a brilliant purple wool, but I had to restart 3 times, because the yarn kept breaking. I finally gave up. Now I’m making hers in a pretty buttery yellow, but it isn’t wool yarn.
I’m not bragging about my knitting endeavors by any means. I pretty much am 100% amateur at knitting. I probably won’t get much better than 70% amateur, because I can usually only do about 6 rows at a time, before I get antsy and want to do something else.
