We had the biggest snowfall of the season for us here at Laughing Thyme Farm. I knew it was going to snow, because I keep an eye on the forecast. However, the forecast had said several times this year that we were going to get a lot of snow. We hadn’t gotten more than 1.5″ until last night, when we got between 2-3.
Here’s the view outside my window.:
It was pretty, but it is already melting. This time last year, I had rows of peas and radishes popping up through the ground. This year I haven’t been able to plant because we are still waiting to hear back from the mulch guy. He has been ignoring our calls. I want to dump a lot of mulch on our front yard. I’ve mentioned this in a previous blog post, I believe.
I’ve got a really busy summer as far as music goes, so I feel like I will probably be overwhelmed with life by the time September rolls around. Haha! 🙂 For now, I’ll just take it a day at a time. Breathe in. Breathe out. Do.
